Located at the edge of Mount Rainier National Park, Crystal Mountain welcomes 29029 as one of our new mountains for 2026! Like Whistler, Crystal delivers big mountain views at low altitude + mild Pacific Northwest climate. The 2,400 ft ascent to the top culminates in expansive views of the Cascade range – all five of Washington’s volcanoes can be spotted from the summit on a clear day. The backdrop is out of this world yet easy to reach from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Participants will stay in a glamping village at the base of the mountain.

Book a CallThe trail climbs steadily through alpine forest before opening into wide meadows filled with wildflowers. The majority of the hike is within view of the gondola and is primarily dirt and grass underfoot. As you rise above the tree line, Rainier dominates the southern skyline, and on clear days, you can also spot Mount Adams, Mount St. Helens, and even Mount Baker in the distance.
